Finance Manager - Berries
GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE Under direction of the Director of Ag Business Ops responsible for Berry Profit & Loss Statement, periodic financial reporting projects MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION Develop budget and explain key sales and operating assumptions.
Compile multiple sources of information to generate an accurate Estimate/Forecast for the Period/Quarter, summarize the results and explain key variances.
Support management with financial analysis including KPIs, financial ratios, comparative analysis, etc.
Measure performance of special projects (OE, etc.
) for profitability and cost efficiency.
Manage grower contracts and ensure that financial results reflected accurately.
Participate in developing long-term strategies for operations, capital expenditure requests, special projects to improve operating performance.
Develop goals then coordinate and direct teams and departments to successful completion Periodic review of policies and procedures, make recommendations as needed.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
