Regional MDS Coordinator/Consultant


Responsibilities:


Assess and work with the facilities to promote the capturing of appropriate clinical reimbursement for services provided.


Tracking, trending, auditing, and data analysis for reimbursement and support the coding of MDS assessments.


Audit facility MDS assessments and determine modifications as needed, educating facilities on reasons for modifications.


Provide training and education to facility teams including DONs, MDS coordinators, etc. on current state and federal regulations for reimbursement and payment models.


Well versed and knowledgeable in PDPM, Quality measures, and the Florida QIP system.


Conduct facility visits as needed to support the teams while providing a report to the Vice President of Clinical Operations


Complete monthly reporting on any MDS concerns, average CMI for PDPM and Medicaid, and any specific facility areas of focus


Work with the clinical teams to determine best practices and avenues to improve quality measures.


Plan, prioritize, organize, meet deadlines, and work independently.


Foster effective working relationships and build a culture of working as a team with IDT members.



Qualifications:


Must have a current RN license


Must have experience in long term care


Must know MDS 3.0


Must know and understand Florida quality measures and QIP


Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
