BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking experienced CVICU Registered Nurses to join our outstanding and compassionate staffing resource office team. BayCare offers a variety of assignment options including:

System Pool- 13-week full time assignment for assigned department - unit provided schedule - block scheduling not available. Aug and Sept start dates for assignments available at Winter Haven and Morton Plant Hospitals.

    Seasonal Pool (must live greater than 100 miles from assigned facility and region of hospitals) and only offered between November-May

    The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.

    The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care.

    Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in the departments

    Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.

    The Registered Nurse performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Registered Nurse license

    BLS

    ACLS(AHA)

    Associate degree in nursing (ASN). BSN is preferred.

    2 years RN current experience in an acute CVICU setting.

    Prior experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred.

    Must have independent transportation for assignments/shifts.

    Flexibility

      Travel Nurse experience preferred.
