Job Summary H-2 Department Supervisor will have to work closely with Executive Leadership and be responsible for all aspects related to supporting the H-2 department from filling petitions, presenting policies in Spanish during onboarding, processing workers, managing compliance with required over-night travel with heavy general office and administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, work independently with little supervision, exceptional problem-solving skills, is comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace--bilingual Spanish is required.

Duties and Responsibilities (NOT LIMITED TO) Work closely with Executive Leadership to drive the companies H-2 department and staff.
The H-2 Supervisor must oversee aspects of personnel, performance metrics, and continuous strategic improvement of the business.
Presents and conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives.
Communicating clearly both in English and Spanish.
Oversee the daily operations of the department, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
Manage and supervise department staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Develop and implement departmental goals, objectives, and strategies to meet organizational targets.
Supports the H-2 department with filling petitions applications, ordering 516's, processing worker transfers, completing and a high volume of document management--manage petition life-cycle.
Act as a liaison between the candidate and outside Third-Party Providers providing continuous support and coordination for the office and other staff.
Will required to performing heavy general/administrative office task, such as, coping, scanning, typing, data entry, ordering & replenishing supplies, personally handle business related errands, sorting, etc.
Assist cross-functional team within HR with documentation for I-9 for international workers.
Entering data to following up with gathering and preparing the documentation needed for immigration petitions.
Routine case monitoring; principle point of contact on status of applications and remaining requirements.
Counsel employees and managers on immigration policies, and set expectations on best practice, process and timeline.
Partner with HR and business on internal transfer needs.
Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, address concerns, and provide training opportunities.
Maintain all posting requirements for each individual and ensure all Public Files are created appropriately, maintained and housed within H-2 Department or required repository.
Prepare immigration-related correspondence (e.
g.
, employment confirmation letters, invitation letters, travel packets, business introduction letters, etc.
) for employees, as needed.
Handle internal and external employee inquiries via phone, email, mail and/or may personally aid H-2 guest workers with issues, appointments in a timely manner.
Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions.
Maintains a valid driver's license with insurance.
This position will require driving for the company to doctors' office, social office, etc.

Preferred Experience / Skills 4-year college degree is preferred 5 years of Supervision or Managing staff Bilingual Spanish Able to travel Over-Night Travel when required Mastery use of web-based portal systems; proficient at Microsoft office applications & adobe acrobat Excellent Interpersonal verbal & written communication; with a high degree of integrity and confidentiality Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and strong organizational and data entry skills Demonstrate flexibility and initiative regarding assignments; ability to solve problems under tight timelines Achieve high level of productivity while maintaining highly organizational and detail standards Job Type:
